Key Responsibilities- Assist the physician with surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to established protocols.
- Prepare and maintain surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity throughout the surgical process.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to established guidelines and regulations.
- High School Graduate or equivalent education.
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Certification by an entity accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies required (must be obtained within 12 months of completing the training program).
- Maintenance of current BLS certification.
- 1-2 years of Operating Room experience preferred.
