Job Overview

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Cybersecurity, particularly within the context of military operations. This role demands a proactive approach to safeguarding information systems and ensuring compliance with established security protocols.


Key Qualifications:
  • Must hold a Top Secret clearance and be eligible for TS/SCI, along with the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) Certification.
  • Demonstrated expertise in various security technologies, including Security Information Event Management (SIEM), Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), Host Intrusion Detection Systems (HIDS), malware analysis, content filtering, and access control mechanisms.
  • Ability to interpret and apply DoD Cyber Security directives, policies, and procedures.
  • Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) applicable to DoD Information Technology.
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in developing and maintaining DoD Certification & Accreditation Packages, including DIACAP or RMF documentation.

Role Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Analyze and implement Cyber Security policies and strategies effectively.
  • Conduct real-time threat assessments for the USCENTCOM Headquarters utilizing various situational awareness tools.
  • Oversee Cyber Security sensor grid operations from Tier 0 to Tier 2, providing actionable recommendations for enhancements and documenting any disruptions or anomalies.
  • Gather Cyber Security intelligence from relevant tools and databases.
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics and capabilities.
  • Understand and categorize Cyber Security events through data analysis and coordination.
  • Track and document Cyber Security threats, incidents, and events.
  • Review and refine Cyber Security tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Stay informed on current intelligence regarding potential threats and formulate appropriate responses.
  • Assist in compliance tracking for USCENTCOM directives.
  • Provide Cyber Security support to NETOPS Centers as necessary.
