Senior Chemist

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Chemist to join our team in Allentown, PA. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for formulating and testing coatings and caulk/mastic products.

• Plan and perform laboratory testing for projects, including coatings and caulk/mastic formulating and testing.
• Mentor other lab staff and teach from experience.
• Generate technical data and results, and present them both internally and externally.
• Ensure safety goals are met by self and others.

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field; Master's or PhD a plus.
• 9-13+ years of relevant experience.
• Willing to travel an average of 25% for customer visits, trade shows, training, etc.
• Good communication skills.
• Good time management and project management skills.
• Advanced level technical knowledge of formulating, test methods, industry standards, competitors, customers, etc.
• Basic knowledge of emulsion polymerization.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to influence.
