Position Overview:
This role involves physically demanding tasks essential for the cultivation and harvesting of crops, particularly tobacco. Applicants should be prepared to engage in various agricultural activities throughout the designated work period.

Key Responsibilities:
- Seed, transplant, and cultivate crops.
- Harvest and prepare tobacco for storage.
- Maintain tools and equipment necessary for farming operations.
- Assist in soil preparation and land management.
- Perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.
- Lift weights ranging from 25 to 70 pounds as required.

Compensation and Benefits:
The confirmed adverse effect wage rate for this position is $15.14 per hour. Workers will receive weekly payments, and the employer guarantees a minimum of 3/4 of the hours outlined in the employment contract. Workers' compensation insurance will be provided.

Housing and Meals:
The employer will offer free housing and three meals daily or provide convenient cooking facilities for workers unable to return home each day. If meals are provided, a maximum charge of $15.88 per day may apply.

Workers may be subject to random drug testing and may need to undergo a criminal background check at no cost. Felony convictions that may affect the safety and living conditions of others on the farm could lead to immediate termination.
