Position Overview:
This role is designated for maintaining cleanliness at the All American Inn. The responsibilities include ensuring guest rooms, hallways, staircases, and other designated areas are kept clean and orderly.

Tasks involve sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors using various cleaning tools such as brooms, mops, lightweight vacuum cleaners, and floor scrubbers.

Duties also include dusting, waxing, and polishing furniture, as well as cleaning and sanitizing guest room appliances, utensils, and dishes. Responsibilities extend to emptying wastebaskets and ashtrays, polishing metal fixtures, and washing accessible walls, windows, and blinds.

Additional tasks include making beds, changing linens, collecting soiled linens for pickup, and delivering clean linens as directed. The role also requires cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, mirrors, sinks, and water fountains, as well as dusting ledges and woodwork.

Regular replacement of deodorizers, toilet paper, hand towels, soap, and other complimentary items is expected.

It is essential to report any maintenance issues such as broken windows, leaks, or clogged drains to the supervisor. Maintaining an adequate supply of cleaning materials and equipment is also part of the job, along with notifying the supervisor when supplies are low or equipment needs repair.


Qualifications:
This position is open to all applicants. Candidates will be evaluated based on their qualifications and experience.

Experience includes both paid and unpaid work, including volunteer roles in various organizations.

No prior experience or training is necessary. Candidates must be able to follow simple instructions and utilize hand or lightweight powered cleaning tools.

Physical ability to frequently lift and empty wastebaskets and occasionally carry items weighing up to 20 pounds is required.


Education:
Educational qualifications from foreign institutions may be considered equivalent to U.S. standards.

Proof of equivalency must be provided during the application process.

Candidates must meet all qualification and background requirements.

U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals residing in the U.S. Territory for a minimum of three consecutive years prior to employment are eligible.

Direct deposit is mandatory, and a probationary period may be necessary.

This position is part of the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) activities for the Air Force and Space Force.
