As a key member of our patient care services team, the successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients and their families, while collaborating with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care.
- Delegate, assess, provide, and evaluate patient care to ensure the highest level of quality and safety.
- Provide and delegate patient care activities to team members, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care.
- Monitor patient progress and prepare patients for discharge, ensuring a smooth transition to post-acute care.
- Report directly to senior unit management and participate in shared decision-making activities to drive quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from a school of nursing required.
- BSN preferred.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan required.
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS required.

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. The Labor and Delivery unit at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and specialized equipment, including delivery beds, Panda warmers, infant transporters, and fetal monitors.
