About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Wellpath. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing quality mental health care to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized plans of care for patients.
  • Provide psychiatric consultation, diagnostic, treatment, and medication management services to patients.
  • Document all relevant patient care issues, including observations and interventions, in progress notes and treatment plans.
  • Provide individualized care and treatment that is culturally sensitive and age-appropriate.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nurse practitioner program.
  • Two (2) years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with psychiatric experience preferred.
  • Certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in the state of practice highly desired.
