About the Role
This position requires a Family Medicine/Internal Medicine physician for ongoing, as-needed coverage in southern Alaska. The role offers flexibility with half-day (4-hour) and full-day (8-hour) shifts available.
- Work on a PRN basis with ongoing needs.
- Two coverage options: conduct examinations at a designated facility or schedule appointments within your own practice.
- Perform one-time non-treatment Compensation and Pension exams along with separation health assessments.
- No prescribing or treatment is required.
- Experience with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardiovascular conditions is essential.
- Must be proficient in METs testing and capable of evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological disorders.
Qualifications
Submission Criteria
- Expertise in METs testing and diagnosing cardiovascular and neurological conditions.
- Possession of a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
- Willingness to wear a mask during all patient interactions.
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible.
- Active and unrestricted medical license.
- Commitment to complete DMA training for certification.
