Trailer Mechanic Job Description

Lucky's Trailer Sales / Dimmick Group Peterbilt is seeking a skilled Trailer Mechanic to join our team at our Colchester, Vermont location. As a Trailer Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and assembling trailers to ensure they are in optimal working condition.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance on trailers, including PMs and hydraulics maintenance and repairs.
  • Fabricate and weld trailer components as needed.
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Assemble and maintain trailer parts and systems.
Requirements:
  • General knowledge of trailer mechanics and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to fabricate / operate a welder.
  • Have own tools to perform standard trailer repairs.
