ABX Air Loadmaster

This is a challenging role that requires a high level of expertise in aircraft loading and cargo operations. As a Loadmaster, you will be responsible for supervising and directing the loading and unloading of cargo on our B-767 aircraft.

• Plan, build, restrain, and load aircraft cargo
• Compute aircraft Weight & Balance
• Inspect and accept hazardous cargo
• Conduct TSA cargo and Ground Security Coordinator duties
• Perform various border clearance functions
• Report safety, SMS, and emergency incidents and concerns
• Conduct SMS Safety Assurance auditing and Safety Risk Management of ground operations processes and services
• Communicate, coordinate, and provide technical assistance to company, regulatory, contractor, customer, and Professional Loadmaster staff

• Previous aircraft loadmaster experience on heavy cargo aircraft
• Minimum of 2,000 logged flying hours or at least 4 years commercial loadmaster flying experience or at least 4 years experience in supervising the building, restraining, load planning, inspecting, and loading of cargo on heavy cargo aircraft
• Ability to inspect and document hazardous materials for air shipment
• Ability to excel in load planning, cargo build-up, and restraint, including heavy and outsized cargo, and aircraft weight and balance computation
• Ability to obtain ABX Loadplanner and Dangerous Goods Inspector certifications
• Ability to work unsupervised while part of a flight crew
• Ability to travel on company aircraft and don necessary emergency equipment
• Ability to withstand outdoor/adverse working conditions and perform extensive, scheduled, or ad-hoc international travel
• Ability to possess or obtain a U.S. Passport
• Ability to pass a background check and TSA security threat assessment
• Ability to obtain US airport SIDA access
• Ability to operate a laptop or tablet, portable printer, smartphone, and use Microsoft Excel

Starting salary of $50K annually
