Subrogation Claims Handler

Job Summary
Vermont Mutual is seeking a highly skilled Claims Resolution Expert to handle a technical claims caseload of Subrogation claims. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough loss investigations and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of claims.
- Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and other external parties to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all claims-related activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve overall claims processing efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
Requirements
- Three or more years of experience in claim handling, preferably in a property and casualty insurance environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in subrogation claims handling and negotiation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
