About the Job
  • Schedule: 8 AM - 12 PM, 5 days a week (Sunday to Thursday, and every other Saturday)
  • Pay: $17.00 to $17.50 per hour (with a minimum requirement of at least a PCA Certificate) with a $0.50 raise after the initial training

Responsibilities
  • Performs personal care and patient-specific activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living, including but not limited to:
  • Help with patient's personal hygiene care
  • Assist with dressing
  • Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions
  • Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
  • Perform light housekeeping activities
  • Provide hospice supportive care and medication reminders
  • Assist with the prescribed range of motion exercises
  • Assist with blood glucose monitoring
Qualifications
  • CNA license or PCA certification
  • Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect
  • Ability to interpret the client's provided plan of care
  • Valid driver's license and transportation
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations
  • Tolerance to small pets (i.e. dogs and/or cats)
  • Must be able to be reached via phone or email for shift schedules, client updates, and/or emergencies
  • Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
