Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Planning and Program Analyst to join our team at the Department of Defense. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to drive organizational performance and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive organizational performance and effectiveness
  • Coordinate annual publications and other internal strategic planning activities
  • Develop and monitor organizational performance measures
  • Develop written engagement strategies and planning guidance
  • Lead complex projects that integrate efforts to improve agency performance and effectiveness of organizational planning
  • Advises working groups and subordinates to share best practices, ensure projects stays within scope and schedule, and collaborates with management to implement recommendations
Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Position has been designated as security designation level Special Sensitive
  • Incumbent is required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance
  • Males born after must be registered or exempt from Selective Service
  • You may be required to complete a financial disclosure (OGE-450)
  • Incumbent is required to submit to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment and is subject to random drug testing for the duration of service with DoD OIG
Qualifications
  • Time in Grade: For entry at the GS-15 level, status applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS-14 or equivalent or higher grade, in the Federal Service
  • Specialized Experience: You must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service
