Job Summary

Epic Special Education Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Certified Occupational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of students and families, providing expert therapeutic services and support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services to students with special needs, including assessment, planning, and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective educational and therapeutic plans.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and needs, and develop strategies to address these needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including goals, objectives, and interventions.
  • Provide training and support to teachers and other staff members on occupational therapy techniques and strategies.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and other professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices and research-based interventions.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
  • Valid School Certified Occupational Therapist credential/license or in process in state of practice.
  • 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as School Certified Occupational Therapist within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
