About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Duke Raleigh Hospital, a campus of Duke University Hospital. As a Registered Nurse on our Medical Oncology unit, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to patients with cancer and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and provide professional nursing care for patients in accordance with physician orders and established policies and procedures.
  • Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments, with the support of our experienced team and comprehensive education program.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, empowering them to take an active role in their care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or higher), Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
