Job Summary

The Simpsonville Police Department is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Law Enforcement Officer to join our team. As a Patrol Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining public safety and order in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for assistance, providing support and services to citizens.
  • Conduct investigations and gather evidence to solve crimes and resolve disputes.
  • Patrol designated areas to prevent and detect crime, and to enforce laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies and community organizations to build relationships and address public safety concerns.
  • Prepare and submit reports and records, and testify in court as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of required law enforcement training and education.
  • Minimum of one to two years of experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • SC Law Enforcement certification(s) and a valid state driver's license.
