ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification is required for specific units. BLS (Basic Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications are also required. NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) certification is required for specific units, as is TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification for ER. State License verification is mandatory, and NIH Stroke Certification is required for specific units.
Job DetailsThis is a 5x8 DAYS position, with a shift of 6:30a-3p. Call is required, and the candidate will scrub hearts when they are booked. If no hearts are scheduled, they will scrub other case types. Once oriented and comfortable scrubbing hearts independently, call can be shared with the lead tech.
Work Setting ExperienceThe ideal candidate will have experience in a CVOR setting. Cardiovascular experience, including various procedures and techniques, is preferred.
Job RequirementsOne year of prior CVOR Tech experience is required, as is BLS and NBSTSA certification. First-time travelers are accepted.
Schedule InformationThis position is 5x8 DAYS, with a shift of 6:30a-3p. Call is required, and the candidate will scrub different case types depending on the schedule.
