About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve high-quality meals to residents in our community.
  • Ensure all special dietary needs are met and prepare texture-modified food as directed.
  • Follow specially prepared Sunrise menus and production sheets to maintain the highest possible quality and consistency.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef in a senior living or healthcare setting.
  • Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and ensuring high-quality food preparation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with our culinary team and other departments.
