Custodial and Events Set-Up Supervisor

Collegiate School is seeking a highly skilled Custodial and Events Set-Up Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing policies and procedures for campus custodial and events set-ups. This role will supervise, direct, and assist custodial personnel, procedures, and operations in maintaining the cleanliness and care of campus buildings to APPA Level 2 Standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct custodial personnel to ensure efficient and effective delivery of custodial services.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for custodial and events set-ups.
- Coordinate logistics, setups, and special events to meet the school's logistical needs.
- Manage inventory of custodial and logistical equipment and supplies.
- Collaborate with departments to ensure successful set-ups and event planning.
- Supervise campus mail and package delivery and service operations.
- Communicate daily with the outsourced Night Custodial Manager to coordinate cleaning schedules.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in custodial services, including direct supervision of staff and program development.
- Demonstrated working knowledge, skills, and expertise in custodial services and systems.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of set-ups and special events planning implementation.
- Demonstrated initiative in the development and implementation of custodial service and management procedures, programs, and strategies.
- Knowledge of green custodial principles and floor care equipment.
- Excellent reading, writing, and comprehension skills, and the ability to develop and maintain accurate records.
- Excellent verbal communication and listening skills, with high attention to clarity and detail.
- Working knowledge of cloud-based systems, word processing, and spreadsheet software, and Windows platform.
- Ability to work under pressure within a fast-paced environment.
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A valid Virginia driver's license and the ability to meet Collegiate School's driving criteria.
Physical Requirements:
- Manual coordination, including finger dexterity, eye/hand/foot coordination, able to distinguish between colors, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, reaching, handling, feeling, depth perception, and hearing.
- Must be able to walk the campuses regularly, lift, lower, carry, push, and pull objects up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Must be able to stand, climb, bend, stoop, and crouch for extended periods of time.
- May be subjected to extreme heat and cold temperatures.
- Will be subjected to motor and/or machine noise.
