Join Our Team as a Clinical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Assistant to join our team at TriStar Joint Replacement Institute. As a Clinical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and supporting our clinical staff in their daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and communicate with patients in a professional and courteous manner
  • Round in patient waiting rooms to ensure a smooth and efficient experience
  • Perform selected administrative duties and assist clinical staff with non-clinical tasks
  • Schedule and cancel patient appointments in a timely and accurate manner
  • Answer the telephone and respond to patient inquiries
  • Verify patient insurance and demographics to ensure accurate billing and records
  • Collect co-payments/coinsurance and personal balances from patients
  • Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for their appointments
  • Take patient weights and vital signs as needed
  • Prepare exam rooms with necessary equipment, supplies, and patient education materials
  • Adhere to and practice appropriate infection control policies and procedures
  • Assist with autoclaving of instruments and removing expired medications
  • Assist with room turnover and preparation for the next patient
  • Electronically file and retrieve medical records in a secure and confidential manner
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
