Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement advanced multi-tier distributed software systems throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle.
  • Lead product initiatives, shaping the future direction of software development.
  • Own project responsibilities, collaborating with both technical and business stakeholders to devise innovative yet practical solutions for intricate business problems.
  • Establish technical strategy, vision, and roadmaps for the development team.
  • Estimate engineering efforts, strategize implementations, and manage rollouts for complex fee computation and billing systems.
  • Innovate to tackle challenging technical issues related to scalability and performance.
  • Engage effectively with peers, juniors, and seniors across the organization and client base.
  • Independently oversee the development of products from initial concept through design, development, and deployment.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in software design and development, with a robust foundation in computer science, emphasizing strong skills in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
  • Expertise in object-oriented design principles and large-scale application development, particularly in Java or similar object-oriented programming languages.
  • Comprehensive understanding of distributed systems and service-oriented architecture.
  • Preferred skills include experience with large-scale data analysis and the capability to develop machine learning models for forecasting and prediction.
  • Strong relational database management and SQL development expertise.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Self-driven and quick to learn new technologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
