Role Description:
As a national partner for educational institutions, Supplemental Health Care collaborates with numerous districts to provide essential healthcare professionals. We are currently seeking a one-on-one school nurse to deliver personalized medical care to a student within a school setting.
Key Details of the Position:
- Competitive pay rate of $40 - $43 per hour
- This role involves providing individualized nursing care throughout the school day, tailored to the student’s specific medical needs and care plan.
- The contract will span the current academic year.
- Responsibilities include adhering to medical care plans, executing medical orders, and communicating effectively with the special education team and caregivers.
- Daily documentation is a requirement.
- The nurse will be matched with a student based on their medical experience and needs.
- Duties may also encompass transportation for students, participation in field trips, and care for students with specific health conditions such as behavioral issues, seizures, diabetes, allergies, asthma, tracheostomy care, ventilator support, and gastrostomy tube management.

Qualifications:
- Valid RN License in Virginia
