We are seeking a skilled Post-Partum/Mother-Baby RN to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a Post-Partum/Mother-Baby Travel Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to new mothers and their infants in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities:- Maintain a safe and clean environment for both mother and infant.
- Provide basic newborn care and assess for critical signs and symptoms of mother and newborn.
- Assist mother with hygienic needs, including checking for post-partum bleeding.
- Monitor emotional status of mother and provide support.
- Provide education on infant care, including feeding, bathing, and diaper changing.
- BLS and CPI certification
- 2 years of recent acute care experience
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty
- Ability to lift 20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
Please note that additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
