About the Role:

The Golf Starter - Pro Shop Attendant is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring a seamless experience for our guests. This role involves managing the golf shop and cart operations, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining the overall quality of our resort.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the management of the golf shop, including answering phones, responding to customer inquiries, and providing product information.
  • Bring out and return golf carts to the cart barn, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Monitor and maintain golf carts, reporting any issues to management.
  • Patrol the golf course, providing a visible presence and reporting any concerns to management.
  • Schedule tee times, sell punch cards and memberships, and process transactions.
  • Enter guest information into our computer system, ensuring accurate records.
  • Sell snacks and beverages, and process credit card transactions.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing a positive experience for our guests.
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining the quality of our resort.
  • Ability to process credit card transactions and manage cash handling.
  • Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Compensation:

The estimated hourly compensation for this position is $16.50 - $17.50, with a salary offer varying based on education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity, and market data.
