Job Title: Registered Nurse OR Lead

Tenet-AZ Region is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to assume a lead role in our Operating Room (OR) department. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will provide professional nursing care within the intraoperative areas, covering pre-op/PACU as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Anticipate physician needs and maintain preference cards
  • Train new employees and ensure a smooth onboarding process
  • Liaise with Supply Chain Management, Environmental Services, and Central Sterile Processing to ensure adequate supplies
  • Scrubs/Circulates as needed and floats as required
  • Liaise with Physicians/Surgeons to understand their preferences related to room setup, availability of supplies, and operating environment
Requirements:
  • Current RN license in the state of Arizona or compact state
  • 3-5 years of operating room experience (5 years preferred)
  • Ability to operate in stressful situations and act with diplomacy
  • Learns physician preferences and applies knowledge to the working environment
