Job Summary

LMI is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Communications Specialist to provide operational and strategic communications support to a DoD program. This role will involve supporting communications and outreach campaigns, authoring content, and developing communication products and solutions. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt to changing environments within DoD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute effective communication strategies to support the client's mission and priorities.
  • Manage enterprise-level internal and external communications channels, products, and partnerships.
  • Convey, promote, and disseminate information to stakeholders related to ongoing and future initiatives.
  • Lead the development and production of reports, articles, presentations, scripts, talking points, testimony, web content, and press releases.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to produce communications products and plans.
  • Perform administrative assistant duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience supporting executive-level DoD leadership.
  • Significant expertise in communications principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
  • Experience designing, developing, and delivering strategic communications through various media.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance required.
Target Salary Range

$100,000 - $150,000 per year.
