Position Overview:
As a Full-Time W&R Field Coordinator, you will oversee the daily Warehouse and Reweigh operations. This role is crucial in ensuring operational efficiency and maintaining the high standards of service that Pyle is known for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily Warehouse and Reweigh operations at the designated Service Center.
- Analyze daily outbound and inbound measurement outputs from local dimensioning equipment and manage the reweigh outputs from the scale fleet.
- Exhibit a thorough understanding of the National Motor Freight Classification (NMFC) provisions, including various NMFC commodity items and the associated rules governing inspection entries.
- Demonstrate knowledge of A. Duie Pyle's Tariff items and policies relevant to inspection entries.
- Understand shipper contracts, including ranges of combined rating classes (FAKs), per-pallet rate agreements, and other negotiated provisions or exemptions.
- Familiarize yourself with the signal chain in the Pyle forklift systems, from the Dock Management System (DMS) tablet to the scale, and address basic scale operation issues as needed.
- Build effective working relationships with dock personnel, shop staff, and Operations supervisors, providing actionable feedback on measurement performance and coordinating with the shop for scale maintenance.
