Job Title: Caregiver - Long-Term Care Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide non-medical, in-home support to seniors in our community. As a Caregiver with Home Care Assistance of Greater Burlington, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect personal care to clients in their homes, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and hygiene.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and professional relationships with clients, family members, and colleagues.
  • Perform duties as assigned on personal care service plans, including light housekeeping, meal preparation, and companionship.
  • Remind clients to take self-administered medications and assist with medication management as needed.
  • Help maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, including cleaning and organizing their living spaces.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Home Health Aide, CNA, Personal Care Aide/Assistant, or similar position.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform duties required by the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
