HCA HealthONE Rose is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Medical Oncology RN. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of our patients.

About the Role

This rewarding position offers the chance to work with a dynamic and collaborative team, providing personalized care to patients with various medical conditions. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centered care, collaborating with medical providers, and advocating for patients and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' conditions during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
  • Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures.

Requirements

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support: Obtain certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse: Current licensure and registration required.
  • Education: Associate Degree or higher in Nursing.
