We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team at Pappas Restaurants. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional nutrition care to our patients, collaborating with physicians to develop personalized treatment plans, and educating patients and families on healthy eating habits.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments to identify patients' nutritional needs and develop effective treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians to manage therapeutic diets and supplements, ensuring optimal patient outcomes
- Provide personalized nutrition education to patients and families, promoting healthy eating habits and lifestyle changes
- Participate in patient rounds, contributing to the development of comprehensive care plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- State licensure or certification as required by the state of practice (Texas)
- Bachelor's degree in dietetics, foods and nutrition, or related field from a US regionally accredited college or university
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in an acute care facility, preferred
