Job Summary:

The School Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing machine malfunctions, performing preventive maintenance, and completing projects as directed. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, as well as the ability to work well in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair machine malfunctions
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
  • Complete projects as directed, including machine moves, modifications, and installations
  • Assist in the training of other maintenance personnel and production associates
  • Ensure that job functions maintain or improve product quality
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school
  • Advanced education (associate degree) in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Prior work experience in a manufacturing setting is highly preferred
  • Experience in working with electrical systems from 24V DC to 480V AC
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints
