Key Responsibilities
  • Provide preventive and therapeutic treatments, including prophylaxis, scaling and root planning, and applying fluoride.
  • Develop and implement disease prevention and promotion of oral health programs for patients.
  • Write compliant and professional chart progress notes in dental records.
  • Assure efficient and cost-effective scheduling and serve as a liaison to patients regarding treatment plans and prevention programs.
  • Monitor dental supply and equipment inventory and process order requests.
  • Provide backup support to dental assistants, administrative staff, dentists, and director.
  • Convey a professional appearance and set a positive tone in the clinic.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of related experience.
  • Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene or a related field.
  • MA Dental Hygiene License or MA Dentist License.
  • Familiarity with dental software, email, and Microsoft Word applications.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree in a related field.
  • 3-5 years of related experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse provider, team, and patient population.
Compensation

Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity, with a minimum of $35.50, midpoint of $42.30, and maximum of $49.00.
