Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Paraprofessional Assistant at Prime Home Developmental Disabilities Services. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students with disabilities in achieving their Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.

Responsibilities
  • Assist students with daily living skills, such as personal care and hygiene
  • Support students in academic and behavioral interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Provide one-on-one support to students in small group settings
  • Assist with classroom management and organization
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid driver's license and current vehicle insurance
  • Ability to pass a State and Federal background check
  • Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with children or young adults with disabilities
  • Knowledge of the ABLLS Verbal Behavior system
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students and staff
