The Senior Scheduler will take charge of applying sophisticated scheduling methodologies and analyses with minimal oversight. This role requires a technical expert who creates advanced industry schedules and offers technical support to junior scheduling staff. Success in this position typically demands extensive experience in scheduling practices.

Key Competencies Required:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of independently resolving issues and prioritizing tasks
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • In-depth knowledge of Primavera and/or Microsoft scheduling software
  • Advanced understanding of industry-specific scheduling terminology
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings
  • Strong Excel capabilities
  • Expertise in conducting critical path analysis from project schedules
  • Ability to create a cohesive, logically structured project schedule aligned with the Project Execution Plan
Qualifications Needed:
  • Experience in developing large-scale (over $20M) fixed-price EPC project schedules for both proposals and detailed execution (Level 3 / 4)
  • Preferred site experience in Power or Industrial facilities
  • Some college education or a minimum of five years of relevant experience in a construction setting
  • Over ten years of experience in scheduling-related roles
  • Computer proficiency certifications are advantageous or equivalent educational background
  • PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) Certification is a plus; recent experience with Primavera (P6) is desirable
  • SAP experience is beneficial
Responsibilities Include:
  • Collaborating with Estimating and Operational teams to create detailed schedules for proposal purposes.
  • Providing support and direction to project team members and site scheduling staff
  • Assisting with and resolving field scheduling challenges.
  • Engaging in and/or leading Project Support Team initiatives
  • Presenting schedule reports during proposal review sessions to senior management
  • Developing and/or adjusting project schedules and integrating multiple project schedules into a comprehensive Master Program Schedule.
  • Creating cost-loaded schedules
  • These responsibilities may include field/project assignments
  • Occasional travel to various offices may be necessary
