Job Overview

Position Summary

Role Purpose:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering patient care tailored to the specific needs of the assigned unit's patient demographic. This role demands a commitment to providing care in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to established standards while remaining adaptable to evolving healthcare environments. The nurse is expected to demonstrate excellence in both work habits and clinical practices.

Key Qualifications:

  • Education: Must possess a nursing diploma or be a graduate of an accredited nursing program. A valid NYS RN License is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in Medical/Surgical or Intensive Care settings is preferred. CCRN certification is a plus.
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory; completion of a Critical Care course is preferred.

Work Environment:
This position is categorized as Per Diem, with standard hours set at 12.00. The schedule will primarily consist of day shifts.

Department: ICU/CCU

Exempt Status: Non-exempt

Compensation: Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
