About the Role:

  • Collaborate with the Service Manager and Shop Foreman to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of John Deere and competitive products, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and innovations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development programs to enhance skills and expertise.
  • Work closely with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in agricultural equipment service and repair.
  • Ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment, following technical manual procedures.
  • Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly, with a valid driver's license and basic computer skills.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associates degree preferred.
