About the Job:
We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to join our team at the Men's Health Foundation. As a key member of our behavioral health services, you will provide individual and group psychotherapy services to patients, maintaining an active caseload and collaborating with healthcare teams to facilitate continuity of care.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain an active caseload, including providing comprehensive assessments, charting progress notes, and all documentation per contractual requirements.
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy using evidence-based psychotherapy interventions and case management as needed.
- Refer clients for psychiatric evaluation and treatment when clinically indicated and collaborate with client's healthcare team to facilitate continuity of care.
- Develop and implement a Supportive Services Outreach plan to locate and engage new clients and provide information on services.
- Represent Men's Health Foundation at community events and meetings to recruit clients, identify resources, and build partnerships.
Requirements:
- Licensed to provide mental health services in the state of California (LCSW, LMFT, or other comparable licenses).
- Two years of experience in a non-profit work environment providing direct client services.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills; strong written and interpersonal skills; commitment to working as part of a diverse, multi-disciplinary team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint). Bilingual/Spanish preferred.
