Position: High School History EducatorKey Responsibilities:
- Deliver captivating lessons in World History, US History, American Government, and Economics, effectively preparing students for Advanced Placement coursework.
- Encourage student-led discussions on historical subjects, promoting critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Assist students in examining primary and secondary sources, enhancing their argumentation and critical reasoning capabilities.
- Establish a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel comfortable sharing their viewpoints and insights.
Qualifications:
- A strong commitment to the mission of Uncommon Schools and a focus on anti-racism initiatives.
- Proven dedication to fostering students' social-emotional and academic development.

- Experience with urban K-12 students is preferred.
Salary: Starting salary ranges from $50,000 to $64,700, depending on experience and qualifications.
