- The Medical Progressive Care Unit at AdventHealth Central Florida is a 41-bed facility that provides care for patients with a variety of medical conditions, including acute coronary syndrome, heart failure, cystic fibrosis, and pneumonia.
- Our healthcare professionals collaborate closely through daily interdisciplinary rounds to ensure the highest standard of care for our patients.
- We emphasize teamwork and foster a collaborative environment among various disciplines, working together to deliver comprehensive healthcare to all patients and their families. You will play an integral role in this dynamic team.

Your Role:
The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is a registered nurse who assists the Nurse Manager or Director in overseeing the operations of their designated unit. The ANM demonstrates critical thinking, creativity, and resource management skills to achieve quality outcomes, foster positive employee relations, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards. This role involves coaching, mentoring, and leading a professional team in delivering exceptional patient care. The ANM is responsible for ensuring high-quality care and effective resource management while supporting unit changes and maintaining respectful relationships.

Qualifications for Success:
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN)
- Current valid State of Florida or multistate Registered Nurse license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- Competency in EKG interpretation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (BSN) or Master's degree in Nursing (MSN)
- Previous management experience
- Professional Certification
