About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master to join our team at Mindteck. As a Scrum Master, you will play a critical role in facilitating daily Scrum meetings, coaching team members, and identifying outstanding project needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily Scrum Meetings: Lead and facilitate daily Scrum meetings to ensure team members are aligned and working towards common goals.
  • Sprint Planning Meetings: Collaborate with team members to plan and prioritize work items for each sprint.
  • Sprint Review Meetings: Facilitate sprint review meetings to demonstrate progress and gather feedback.
  • Sprint Retrospective Meetings: Lead sprint retrospective meetings to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  • Maintain Team Dynamics: Foster a positive and productive team environment by promoting open communication, collaboration, and respect.
  • Coach Team Members: Provide one-on-one coaching and guidance to team members to help them improve their skills and performance.
  • Mediate through Impediments & Conflicts: Act as a mediator to resolve conflicts and impediments that may arise during the project.
  • Identify Outstanding Project and Product Decisions: Analyze project and product decisions that may impact team delivery and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Foster Self-Organization: Encourage team members to take ownership of their work and make decisions autonomously.
  • Support Team, Project, and Organization Goals: Collaborate with project leaders and product owners to ensure team goals align with organizational objectives.
  • Provide Feedback: Offer constructive feedback to team members to help them improve their performance.
  • Encourage Agile Practices: Promote the use of Agile practices within the development team to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Help Teams and Vendors with Release Planning: Collaborate with teams and vendors to plan and execute releases.
  • Be Familiar with the Team: Develop a deep understanding of the team's product and processes.
  • Bring People Together: Facilitate communication and collaboration between team members and stakeholders.
  • Keep in Touch with Stakeholders: Regularly communicate with stakeholders to ensure their needs are met.
  • Help the Team Report to Management: Assist the team in reporting progress and status to management.
  • Help Further the Agile Community: Promote Agile practices and principles within the organization.
  • Be a Contact Person: Serve as a point of contact for team members and stakeholders regarding Agile practices.
  • Provide Learning Opportunities: Offer training and development opportunities to team members to improve their Agile skills.
  • Facilitate Change: Help the team adapt to change and implement new processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience: Five (5) years minimum experience working in the Scrum Master role.
  • Familiarity with JIRA: Familiarity with JIRA is a plus.
  • Agile Development: Experience with Agile development and Scrum methodology is required.
Physical Demands
  • Sedentary Work: Ability to perform sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time.
  • Ability to Conduct Repetitive Tasks: Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitors.
