About the Role

We're looking for a seasoned professional with a minimum of 15 years of experience in data science, specifically in building models for complex DoD projects. Your expertise in developing machine learning models using Python (including PySpark and Pandas) and R will be invaluable in supporting systems engineering data for the Department of the Air Force.

Key Responsibilities
  • Model Development: Design, build, and deploy machine learning models that support complex DoD projects, leveraging your expertise in Palantir Foundry or equivalent data integration platforms.
  • Research and Development: Manage research projects, adapting to frequent changes and evolving priorities, while ensuring model alignment with organizational objectives and requirements.
  • Mentorship and Collaboration: Mentor junior team members, contribute to innovative data science solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience working with DoD enterprise data systems and 3 years of experience in data integration workflows within Palantir Foundry (or equivalent).
  • Current Top Secret/SCI clearance.
