About Our FacilitySouth Kingstown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a leading provider of subacute care services, dedicated to delivering exceptional patient outcomes and quality care.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Nursing Team Leader, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct nursing care to residents on our 16-bed subacute unit.
- Supervising the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Collaborating with the nursing team to provide comprehensive care services, including medication management and wound care.
- Reporting changes in patient status to the Nurse Supervisor, and participating in interdisciplinary rounds to discuss patient progress and plan next steps.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN.
- At least one year of experience working in a subacute care setting, with a focus on gerontology or long-term care.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff to achieve excellence in patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
