At Koala Insulation of the Midsouth, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Thermal Insulation Technician who is enthusiastic about enhancing their expertise and contributing positively to our communities. This role is integral to our operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional insulation services in various settings. The technician will also be tasked with diagnosing and rectifying spray foam challenges while mentoring less experienced team members.

Safety Protocols: Complies with all safety regulations in line with federal, state, and local health and safety standards. Responsible for the safe transportation of equipment to job sites.

Operational Duties: Executes the removal and installation of insulation materials according to job specifications. Adheres to established procedures for equipment setup and operation. Maintains high-quality standards while ensuring efficiency. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of various insulation types (blown-in, spray foam, and batts) and consistently conducts quality assessments.

Technical Skills: Identifies and resolves field issues in collaboration with the Crew Leader.

Client Interaction: Engages professionally with clients, upholding a positive company image and ensuring thorough cleanup of the work area upon job completion.

Additional Responsibilities: Focuses on the continuous enhancement of customer service, quality, efficiency, and safety. Provides guidance and training to junior staff members. Communicates any challenges to the Crew Leader and undertakes other related tasks as necessary.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, landscaping, or a related field is preferred.

• Ability to engage in prolonged periods of walking, standing, stooping, climbing, kneeling, and crawling.
• Work environment may involve exposure to high temperatures, confined spaces, dust, hazardous materials, and heights.
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
