Job Title: R&D Laboratory Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented R&D Laboratory Technician to join our team at LATICRETE International. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for preparing formulations and conducting testing under the direction of staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform physical testing on experimental or standard products as directed by staff members.

• Record and report test results in an approved manner.

• Maintain absolute security over batching and formula sheets at night, weekends, or when not in use.

• Insure that only authorized personnel have access to formulas.

• Maintain a clean and efficiently operating R&D laboratory.

• Maintain clean and properly operating testing equipment.

• Provide innovative suggestions for improved performance tests and methods.

• Implement special technical projects as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years' experience in a research lab or a minimum of 1 year experience in a construction material laboratory is required.

• Work exposure to QC and Laboratory environment.

• Must be well organized, detail oriented, and have strong analytical ability.

• Team Cooperation - maintain positive, cooperative, professional attitude with all LATICRETE employees and all customers.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Must be a self-starter and ability to multi-task.

Computer Skills:

• Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).

Travel:

• 10%
