Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the pharmacy team to deliver high-quality patient care and services
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve pharmacy operations and efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication
  • Stay up-to-date with regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and knowledge of specialty diseases
  • Provide clinical oversight and industry innovation to drive business and clinical outcomes
Requirements
  • Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
  • Successful completion of state pharmacy board examination
  • Pharmacist license current and in good standing in the state of LA
  • Three to five years' experience in the practice of pharmacy
  • Two to three years' experience in pharmacy management leading pharmacy teams preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of experience working with patient management program
  • MS State Pharmacist License
  • Specialty Pharmacy experience within a health system
  • Working knowledge of 340B
  • Working knowledge of Oncology and inflammatory diseases
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This position requires daily commuting to the pharmacy site during operational hours. The work environment is friendly and relaxed, with a moderate level of physical activity required.
