Job Title: CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Wellstar Health System, Inc. in Douglasville, Georgia.

Job Summary:

The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining accurate records. This is a full-time night shift position, requiring flexibility and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform computed tomography scans on patients, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during the scanning process, following infection control guidelines and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Operate and maintain CT equipment, performing routine quality control tests and reporting any issues to the supervisor.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient scans, including images and reports.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in radiology, with preference given to those with CT experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
