Team Overview:
The Fanatics Aviation team is thrilled to announce an opening for a Corporate Aviation Captain to facilitate both domestic and international air travel for company executives, investors, and talent, supporting various business initiatives. This role encompasses both technical responsibilities and corporate interactions. The dynamic work environment demands quick and thoughtful decision-making in a fast-paced setting. You will engage directly with high-level executives, industry leaders, customers, investors, talent, and distinguished guests. This position necessitates exceptional written and verbal communication skills, the ability to remain composed in rapidly changing situations, and a professional demeanor that fosters confidence while promoting a positive image of the company in both business and aviation sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the final authority for the operation of the assigned aircraft.
- Ensure the safe and efficient transport of passengers and crew.
- Possess the authority to delay, cancel, or discontinue a flight when conditions are deemed unsuitable.
- Make necessary changes to the planned flight during operation as required for safety.
- Oversee flight planning and coordinate any changes to the flight schedule.
- Implement all necessary adjustments in response to enroute conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate procedures and regulations.
- Conduct flights in a safe and prudent manner, adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all Fanatics Aviation policies and procedures.
- Follow all customs, security, and country entrance protocols.
- Safeguard all company property while traveling away from the home base.
- Ensure all manuals and charts are current and onboard the aircraft.
- Maintain the aircraft in a ready and operational state.
- Keep the aircraft clean and well-stocked.
- Organize catering and ensure that all necessary items are onboard.
- Report any hazardous actions or events to the Safety Manager and Director of Aviation.
- Conduct briefings that include health and safety information as necessary.
- Promote a safe and professional working environment.
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to company uniform standards.
- Report any potential AOG concerns immediately.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
- Valid MEL/ATP license.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Captain in a corporate flight department or equivalent.
- At least 8 years of commercial aviation experience.
- In-depth knowledge of aviation operations, Federal Aviation Regulations, and corporate flight protocols.
- Preferred G650 or G550 type rating.
- Valid airline transport license with multi-engine and instrument ratings.
- Experience with international flights.
- Minimum total flight time of 5,000 hours.
- At least 500 hours of turbine time.
- A minimum of 2,000 hours of multi-engine time.
- At least 1,000 hours of jet time.
- Minimum of 500 hours of IFR time.
- Ability to pass FAA Class 1 physical examination biannually.
- Exemplary professionalism, as this role involves interaction with top executives.
- Strong customer service skills, including excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
- Must reside within a reasonable distance from the designated airport.
