The Flexographic Printing Press Technician plays a crucial role within our operations, tasked with the production of high-quality printed labels while diligently overseeing the quality of the labels and the operational conditions of the press.

Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all safety regulations, protocols, and guidelines established by the plant and corporate standards.
- Report any safety concerns or issues to the immediate supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by completing daily housekeeping tasks.
- Execute make-ready processes in accordance with the Job Ticket and Product Specification documents to ensure the correct print cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, and anilox rollers are utilized.
- Conduct all necessary quality checks related to product specifications, including visual and functional assessments, and complete all press-side quality checks.
- Operate the press to produce products that meet customer specifications while maintaining quality, minimizing waste, and optimizing press efficiency.
- Ensure consistent quality throughout the production run, with critical quality checks including copy, color, registration, and ink adhesion.
- Complete all required procedures, work instructions, and quality measurements as per the BRC standard.
- Efficiently complete press make-readies.
- Perform all necessary equipment maintenance tasks.
- Clean plates, cylinders, and ink pans, and lubricate the press as required.
- Input all necessary information into the GlobeTek system for material usage and time in an accurate and timely manner.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in Flexographic Printing is essential.
