Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and install electro-mechanical systems, including positioning, aligning, and fastening units to assemblies, subassemblies, or frames.
  • Connect cables, tubes, and wiring according to standard manufacturing methods and procedures.
  • Repair and maintain electrical and electro-mechanical equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Analyze and initiate assembly methods according to process requirements, ensuring efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and validate recommendations.
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of basic hand tools, including torque, crimper, etc.
  • Intermediate soldering skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in ALSTOM-specific databases and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including drawings and wire lists.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent standing and lifting of loads up to 40 lbs.
  • Occasional bending and positioning to access tight spaces.
  • Occasional use of ladders.
  • Wearing personal protective equipment, including steel-toe shoes and safety glasses.
