Responsibilities:
  • Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health and situation, utilizing age and culturally sensitive practices to prioritize and expedite care.
  • Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues, and identify expected outcomes for individualized patient plans.
  • Implement, coordinate, and educate to promote health and a safe practice environment, evaluating progress toward attainment of outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively in various formats, demonstrating leadership in the professional practice setting and the profession.
  • Apply existing evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge in healthcare to Emergency Nursing practice, ensuring patient care is delivered based on age-specific needs and clinical requirements.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
  • No experience required.
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Registered Professional Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of employment.
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification from the American Heart Association, or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
